February Empties
Al'chemy Conditioners Macadamia and Wheat and Unscented Wheat Free: I hate that I always run out of conditioner before I run out of shampoo - it ruins my love of symmetry! I really like these conditioners - I've already bought another bottle of the unscented one.
Palmolive Naturals Shower Milk Milk & Olive: An old staple, though I usually get the one with the brown lid. I'm trying to go more natural with this sort of thing, so not sure if I'll buy it again.
Silk Naturals Intensive Moisturiser: I was a bit iffy about this at first - it didn't seem overly moisturising - but once I got used to it not having all the silicones and slippy fillers that come in commercial moisturisers I liked it quite a bit. I would repurchase this, but not until I've used up other things I have. Trying not to be wasteful!
Balmain Ambre Gris EDP 5ml decant: Love this, even though it's a cheesy old lady fragrance. What am I saying, I adore cheesy old lady fragrances. I would definitely buy a full bottle - in fact it's on my FB list - but I'm on a total perfume ban for the forseeable future, so not sure when that will happen.
Silk Naturals Coconut Argan Cleansing Conditioner: Noodles used this and really liked it, so I'll probably get her a full size next time I do a Silk Naturals order.
Silk Naturals Vitamin C Peptide Serum: Really liked this and will definitely buy it again, but as above with the moisturiser, I'm using up other things first.
Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer: This came in a GWP a couple of years ago and I never used it. It's been knocking around for a really long time now, so I'm chucking it.

Urgh! The same thing happens to me with shampoo and conditioner, and I loathe it! I thought it was just me using too much but now I don't feel so alone :)
ReplyDeleteI love empties posts (I'm nosy that way) - the milk body wash sounds beautiful! If you can get your hands on Le Petit Marseillais, they do a milk one as well that's crazy amazing...
Sabine
I don't use a lot of conditioner, so I'm not sure why I always run out of that first, but it's so frustrating!
DeleteHooray for empties! I love these posts because they motivate me to work on finishing things off. I'm already looking forward to my next empties post (probably mid-March) because I've been doing a really good job of finishing off samples that I've had for too long.
ReplyDeleteI love empties posts too. I think for me it's part of that nosiness of checking out what people have and what they are using. :-)
DeleteYou made it thru a lot of stuff! Perfume ban... I need one of those! I think its been helping to add some of my fragrance oils to the body butters I make, I have slowly been minimizing my collection!
ReplyDeleteI did a massive perfume cull over the last year or so but I still have quite a lot, so I'm determined to get through a few before I even think of shopping for any more!
DeleteMy boss keeps raving about the Clinique Turnaround stuff and it's driving me nuts.
ReplyDeleteIt's also weird that Palmolive has an extended line of skincare! Here it's just a dishwashing detergent.
Palmolive is one of those brands that's owned by a mega-corp, isn't it? You probably do have the same sort of thing called something else.
DeleteThought they were Proctor & Gamble but they're the direct competitors instead: Colgate-Palmolive! They own Irish Springs, Softsoap and some other various companies. They are mostly in the "cleaning" business though.
DeletePalmolive makes bath & body products? Weird. Weird!
ReplyDeleteWe do have Palmolive shower wash things here, yes. And I think my hand soap might be Palmolive too. They used to just be dish detergent and the like here years ago.
DeleteI'm intrigued by this cleansing conditioner mm very interesting
ReplyDeleteI tried one that The Peach sent me when she sent my Naked 2. It was the Cranberry or Passionfruit or whatever - the one that isn't this one above anyway. I liked it a lot - definitely worth checking out.
DeleteI am so with you on the unequal balance between shampoo & conditioner, drives me nuts. Then there is the whole to mix brands or not to mix dilemma :) Cheesy old fragrances, cracked me up and made me curious to smell this!
ReplyDeleteIf you do get a whiff of it, you'll know exactly what I mean. ;-)
