Random Things Pissing Me Off Lately
1. iHerb coupon codes. Every time anyone mentions iHerb anywhere on the internet, 20+ people come out of the woodwork to pimp their stupid iHerb codes (that EVERYONE has).
2. Sponsored reviews/ sent for consideration/ this is totes my 100% opinion. I don't care. With the exception of maybe 3 people, if you didn't pay money for it I don't believe a word you're saying about it. If you rave about how super fantastically awesome it is and then never mention it again in a favourites post, empties post, look of the day post, etc. I already hate you and no longer read your blog because you're a stupid boring lying liar with no credibility.
3. Workplace psychopaths. Exhausting, unprofessional, impeding, and responsible for me spending about half an hour every morning thinking of possible diseases I might have that would prevent me from going to work that day. Or, you know, ever.
4. Australian politics. Actually, politics in general. I can't even go there. Just ugh.
5. Kyle Sandilands. Hurry up and have that heart attack you're heading for, you nasty, misogynistic, talentless arse. See also: Andrew Bolt, Alan Jones, Ray Hadley, Tony Abbott, Christopher Pyne, etc.
6. Football season. Or more specifically, football tipping season. As if it wasn't boring and annoying enough listening to colleagues bang on about My Kitchen Rules every morning.
7. The weather. We had some relief for a week or so after summer FINALLY decided to piss off, and then today it's 36 degrees (celsius). WHAT THE HELL.
8. Teenagers and their moodiness. UGH.
9. Smart arses who cannot resist the urge to spoil a TV show because they need to show off the fact that they have read the books/comics it is based on. There's a special place in Hell for those fuckers.
10. That one person who needs to dominate every forum, regardless of the topic.
11. Just everyone and everything in general, really.

Ahh, venting! It´s a wonderful thing! <3
ReplyDeleteYep, sometimes you just have to let it all out. ;-)
DeleteSO MUCH #2. As soon as I see the "I was sent this product for review" note, I'm just like... mmmmmmmmhmmm.
ReplyDeleteIt's so noticable here in Australia because the blogging world is small, and so is the PR world - there tend to be a lot of crossover friendships so people won't say anything negative because they a) don't want to upset their friend, and b) don't want to cut off the freebie tap. There's also a group that I privately think of as 'the seagulls' who are just in for ANYTHING free and I just really hate those people.
DeleteOh Dee, you beautiful tropical fish.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at meat tornado.
DeleteSponsored shit makes me puke. It's disgusting how many people will lie just because something is free. I have a funny story regarding me calling out a certain unmentionable guru with the whole Sigma bullshit, but, I won't go there ;)
ReplyDeleteHa, don't even get me going on Sigma and their saturation of the blogging/vlogging world. That's a whole other rant of its own!
DeleteThere are a small handful of people I know who get free stuff but are GENUINELY honest about it (as opposed to just posting their stupid disclaimers). Not that many come to mind, though.
Ah, the workplace psychopath. I know one of those.........
ReplyDeleteSo stressful to try to deal with... and work around. :-/
DeleteLols I know you want my iherb coupon code, $5-10 OFF YOUR FIRST TIME PURCHASE!!! XP
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!
DeleteThis month has been a Blizzard of Horror, innit. Also - meat tornado! :D
ReplyDeleteAre you a Parks and Rec fan, Twyla? IF SO, COME HERE SO I CAN HUG YOU, YOU BEAUTIFUL RULE BREAKING MOTH!
DeleteThis month has been a Blizzard of Horror, innit. Also - meat tornado! :D
ReplyDeleteI thought I was the only one who thought that about my work place. You're awesome:)
ReplyDeleteI think we all have one to put up with. And thank you. :-)
